We often idolize a "perfect" or "proper" posture, but fail to understand what that really means. At BODability our focus is not on just the static component of how your posture looks when you're stationary, but also how it is affected by your movement, your "active" posture. We examine how well you move in and out of the postures and positions you need to be in all day, because that's typically when we see injury or dysfunction arise.
All of our manual therapists have their own way of assessing your posture, some assess it more statically and some assess it more actively, or they do a blend of the two. Email us to find out which one might be more suitable for you!
